Game Board
You’re not just stepping into a single room — your stage is a monumental abandoned hospital or the entire city of Helsinki.
In our Premium games, you might find yourself exploring a real restaurant, shopping mall, or deserted hospital.
In our Classic experiences, the entire game unfolds within the vast, atmospheric grounds of the hospital.
Actors
Our actors make the experience feel strikingly real.
They’re everywhere — on the phone, in messages, on video, and of course, live.
Depending on the game, they might be on your side — or working against you.
Rope Escape
Want to end the game with style? All our Premium games include the chance to rappel down from the balcony of an abandoned hospital — safely harnessed, of course.
The same adrenaline-pumping finale can also be added to any Classic game when booking.
And don’t worry — if a six-meter descent feels a bit too intense, not everyone in your group has to take the plunge.
Story
The story begins the moment you step inside.
You can dive into your role as much — or as little — as you like. Every puzzle drives the narrative forward, and nothing is random: every detail, every lock, every clue is woven seamlessly into the story.
The best part? It feels like stepping into a movie — one where you shape what happens next.
Puzzles
In our games, number codes don’t steal the spotlight — your full intelligence does.
Our puzzles engage multiple senses, so solving clues may require your whole body — from fingertips to ears.
Extras
Need a babysitter during the game or want to surprise the bachelor or bachelorette?
How about accessible clues in braille — or even rappelling in a wheelchair?
Tell us what you need, and we’ll make it happen.
Number of Players
If you and your group are passionate escape room fans, the ideal team size is 4-6 players. However, if you’re celebrating something and just want to enjoy a fun evening together, you’re welcome to join with as large a group as you like. In the Trapped by the Beast is also available in a two or three team version for groups of more than 12 people.
Content Warning
We are not traditional escape room. Our games are a unique mix of immersive theater, adventure, and puzzles. That’s why they’re best suited for players who are ready to dive into something deeper than just locks and number codes.
The game includes material involving harm to victims, so we recommend it for ages 16 and up. We use a safe word in all our games so you can signal if anything becomes too intense.
Game Creators
All PakoMielle games are our original creations – you won’t find them anywhere else. The technical design, route planning, and effects are the work of Toni, who draws on his knowledge of urban combat tactics and human psychology. Heidi writes the stories, drawing from her experience as a live-action role-playing game master, fantasy author, and board game designer, while also managing both customers and actors. We’re both avid fans of crime fiction.
