With our Premium games, you&#8217;ll not only explore the hospital but also embark on an adventure across Helsinki. Classic Kamppi takes place entirely in the Helsinki city center area. The closest options are tram 4 (Meilahti Hospital stop) and buses 20 and 30 (Tukholmankatu stop). <\/p><p>Paid parking spaces are available on nearby streets (zone 2 = \u20ac2\/h, chargeable on weekdays from 9 AM to 9 PM). The closest parking spots are on M\u00e4ntytie and Valpurintie, just a few dozen meters&#8217; walk from our main door.  <\/p><p>Please enter through the main door, which is on the street side. The main door is located between Galleria Rankka and the small park. You&#8217;ll recognize the door by the PakoMielle A-sign visible in the entryway. If the main door is locked, please call Heidi (050 9105922) and we will come to pick up your group from the lobby. The restaurant is on the edge of Narinkkatori square, less than 100 meters from the main entrance of Kamppi shopping center on the Narinkkatori side. <\/p><p>The closest tram stops are Lasipalatsi and the Natural History Museum. The metro and buses take you directly below Kamppi shopping center (exit from E-floor).<\/p><p>The nearest train stops at the Central Railway Station, with a 300-meter walk to the restaurant. <\/p><p>The nearest paid parking can be found on Arkadiankatu, as well as Etel\u00e4inen Rautatiekatu and Pohjoinen Rautatiekatu, and in the Kamppi parking garage. <\/p><p>The Premium games end in Meilahti, from where you can easily return to the city center by tram number 4 from the Meilahti Hospital stop.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/BWJXM8UgpukRjmiy8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Google Maps Directions<\/a><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cc07c5a e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"cc07c5a\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4164604 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4164604\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<hr><h3>Safety<\/h3><p>If you encounter something too intense during the game, use the safe word \u201cGarage\u201d, and our actors will promptly escort you out of the situation.<\/p><p>Premium and Classic+ games include an optional rope descent from a balcony. You can read more about it <a href=\"https:\/\/pakomielle.fi\/en\/ropes\/\">here<\/a>. <\/p><h3>Restrooms<\/h3><p>At Tukholmankatu, there are restrooms on every floor and an accessible restroom on the first floor. John Scott&#8217;s has restrooms and an accessible restroom. The Classic Kamppi endpoint also has a restroom.  <\/p><h3>Getting Around<\/h3><p>In Premium games, we move from place to place during the game by car, tram, or bus, depending on the group size. If you don&#8217;t have a monthly pass, you don&#8217;t need to purchase a ticket for travel within the game \u2013 we&#8217;ll provide you with a single-use ticket. You can also travel between locations in your own car if you prefer.  <\/p><p>In the Classic Kamppi game, you&#8217;ll also move between different locations, but the walks take just a few minutes at a time.<\/p><h3>What to Wear<\/h3><p>We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you don&#8217;t mind getting a little dirty. If you&#8217;re participating in a game that involves moving around the city, it&#8217;s a good idea to choose your gear according to the weather. We have raincoats and umbrellas available for loan.  <\/p><p>For rope descent, we&#8217;ll provide you with harnesses, gloves, and a helmet if you wish. Trousers are a bit easier than skirts when descending with ropes. Long hair and beards should be tied up for the descent.  <\/p><h3>Food and Drink<\/h3><p>Before and during the start of the games in John Scott\u2019s, you can enjoy drinks and small snacks at your own expense. Bringing your own food and drinks to our Tukholmankatu premises is allowed, and especially on hot days, it&#8217;s a good idea to bring a water bottle. In our lounge on Tukholmankatu, you&#8217;ll find a small refrigerator and a microwave, which you can use to store or heat your snacks if you wish.  <\/p><h3>Accessibility<\/h3><p>Our Tukholmankatu premises are wheelchair accessible. For Premium games, we can adapt routes when we know about your needs in advance. Unfortunately, our Classic Kamppi game premises are not accessible. We also offer Braille hints and audio description during the game, and we can help arrange a sign language interpreter if needed.   <\/p><h3>A Glimpse into History<\/h3><p>The building designed by Uno Ullberg has served as both a war hospital and a nursing college throughout its history. Competitive athletes were also accommodated there during the 1952 Olympics. Today, Tilajakamo Cooperative rents out spaces in the building for artists.   <\/p><p>The first John Scott\u2019s restaurant opened its doors in Sweden in 2013. Today, this &#8216;second living room&#8217; for city dwellers invites people to enjoy sports, live music, British pub food, and drinks in Helsinki too.
