Where in Helsinki does the adventure take place?
We’re based in Meilahti, Helsinki, at Tukholmankatu 10, and all our games end there. Premium games, however, start at John Scott’s restaurant in Kamppi at Salomonkatu 1 and take you through the streets and shopping centre of Kamppi as well as the old hospital. From Kamppi you can reach Tukholmankatu in about 15 minutes by tram 4 or buses 20 and 30, for example. In Premium games, the in-game tram ride is included in the price.

How long does the party programme last?
The wedding-themed escape room comes in three lengths. In Classic you spend an hour adventuring in the abandoned hospital. Classic+ lasts 1.5 hours and also includes a rope descent. Premium lasts two hours, takes you from Kamppi to Meilahti and features both the hospital’s labyrinthine corridors and the rope descent.
After the game, it’s worth setting aside a little time so we can go through the storyline and the secrets you uncovered together.
How many party guests fit in the escape room?
Your party can be as big as you like. If spending an unforgettable day together matters most and you all want to enjoy the company of the bride or groom-to-be, you can play as one group. If you’d all rather dive headfirst into the puzzles, we recommend splitting into several groups.

Prices are the same on weekdays and at weekends. You can pay when booking or on site. You can change the number of participants after booking by sending us a message, so if someone can’t make it after all, the others won’t have to pay for their game.
Frequently asked questions
Can we surprise the bride or groom-to-be?
Lots of groups bring the bride or groom along without telling them what’s in store. That works brilliantly in our games. We’re also happy to add little tasks about the guest of honour, so mention their favourite song or hobbies when booking, or whisper them to us during the game. We can also surprise the bride with, say, a phone call before the game begins.
Does the game kidnap our own bride or groom?
The heiress in the game is played by an actor, so you won’t lose your own guest of honour. If you’d like us to snatch them away for a moment, we can plan that together.
Is the escape room easy or hard?
The Ransomed Bride is an escape room where you unravel a crime, relationships, secrets and riddles. That’s why previous escape room experience won’t necessarily give you an edge. Our actors make sure you never get stuck and that you get to experience the whole story of the missing bride.
Can we pop some bubbly during the programme?
In Premium games, you can order drinks and snacks from John Scott’s restaurant before the game starts. If you bring your own bubbly, you’re welcome to sip it at our Tukholmankatu premises, where there’s also a fridge.
Will we be outdoors during the programme?
Our Premium games include a short spell outdoors. We have umbrellas and raincoats in case of bad weather, but there isn’t much walking outside. You’ll also be outdoors briefly during the rope descent, but you can head back inside afterwards if you like.
Is the programme available in other languages?
The game is available in Finnish or English.

Restaurants nearby
Helsinki is full of lovely restaurants where you can carry on the celebrations after the game. One of our own favourites is Baskeri & Basso on Tehtaankatu. All the restaurants in the centre are easy to reach by tram or car, but if you’d like somewhere within walking distance, the Scandic hotel isn’t far.
What should we wear for the stag or hen party?
We recommend dressing for the weather and your own comfort. The ropes may leave dark marks on clothes and the hospital can be a bit dusty, so it’s best to change into your favourite outfit after the game. Rope descending is most comfortable in trousers and trainers, but it can also be done in a skirt and heels.
Tie long hair back for the descent.

- Erittäin loistava pakopeli, eroaa merkittävästi niistä, joissa ollaan ainoastaan yhdessä tai kahdessa huoneessa. Ei välttämättä sovi niille, jotka ovat liian kaavoihin kangistuneita ja hakevat ainoastaan yksinkertaisia palapelejä ratkaistavaksi. Näyttelijät tekevät peleistä uniikkeja ja lisäksi hinta-/laatusuhteesta maksoi erittäin mielellään.
